MEADOWS CUP 2023
After a 5 year break, the 5th Meadows Cup will be held May 12-13-14th. All Members (male & female, 19 years of age or older) with a valid handicap (no matter how high or how low) are invited to participate on teams, captained by our PGA of Canada Professionals, John Lawson & David DeAdder, In a Ryder/Solheim Cup style event. All players entered will play in both sets of matches, team and individual.
Schedule of Events:
Friday @ 7pm - Reception (munchies/appetizers) with drawing of teams and announcement of pairings for Saturday’s Best Ball Matches
Saturday – 18 holes of matches, tee times for 9 holes of Best Ball followed by 9 holes of Alternate shot team competitions. Dinner and pairings for singles matches will follow the golf.
Sunday - Tee Times for 18 holes of individual match play competition, lunch, presentation of winning team followed by team pictures.
To Participate:
Your spot on Team Lawson or Team DeAdder can be secured via payment of $36 entry fee at the Pro Shop no later than Wednesday May 11th. Teams will be determined taking handicap into consideration. Male golfers will play from the white tees, Female golfers from the red tees.
Your entry fee includes golf, Friday evening reception with munchies, dinner on Saturday, lunch on Sunday, and of course …. the opportunity to hoist the Meadows Cup with your team mates!
