Juniors Program for Members
Our Junior Membership will include a weekly group clinic on Thursdays:
-
Time slots will be set at 8:30, 10:30, 1:00, age and experience will influence where you fit, the time assignments will happen on the first day and stay the same throughout the season.
-
Each Time slot will have 2 groups, one with each golf professional and helper
-
All juniors will first learn safety and ettiquete on and around the course as well as how to properly swing the golf club, putt and play the golf course.
-
Juniors should eventually have their own equipment but let us know if they are new and we can help find equipment and possibly get them started with a few clubs we have on hand. Please arrange in advance.
-
They should wear golf shoes or comfortable sneakers with some tread to help keep them from slipping on the grass.
-
Always a good idea to have a hat and sunscreen and a sweater or jacket, sometimes it's cooler here than in the city.
18-hole program for Juniors with handicaps:
-
Sign up and groups will be put together for mid-late morning on Monday, some days will be stroke play (individual) and some days may be match play.
-
We will attempt to have mentors with some groups each week
-
As with all other tee times sign up/ pre booking is mandatory and will be open before the regular 2 day booking window, if you sign up and cannot attend you must call to cancel. Please contact pro shop to sign up.

Junior Golf Mondays:
We will do some supervising and coaching as always but we welcome parents/grandparents walking with the younger less experienced juniors. We prefer to leave the coaching to the pros and their helpers but guidance around the course to keep pace of play and scores might be helpful, it might even be fun! Please let us know if you plan to walk along when your junior’s book, we do not need 4 adults with every group.

Golf Etiquette
Along with golf swing, there is much more to learn to make your golf experience better for you and everyone else who is golfing when you are golfing. If new to the game, here are some basic tips:
-
Good Pace of play makes every round more enjoyable, this simply means keeping up with the group you are following on the golf course.
-
Being ready to play when it’s your turn, or using ready golf ideas keeping things less formal, but always safe too.
-
Leaving the course as you found it makes every golfer’s round more enjoyable too. Learn to replace divots, repair ball marks on greens and rake bunkers.
-
Don’t drive carts or push carts across tee areas or putting greens.
-
Be on time and ready to start at your tee time.
-
Play in foursomes when possible, but not more than four players per group.
-
Don’t hunt more than 3-5 minutes for a potential lost golf ball.
3 great tips that will help you play
“ready golf"
-
When your group is on the tee, make sure you’re wearing your glove and have your golf ball, tee and club in your hands so you’re ready to set up and hit the minute it’s your turn.
-
In the fairway, we all know it’s okay to play out of turn if you’re ready to go (as long as it’s safe), but it’s good to be proactive so that you’re ALWAYS ready.
-
On the putting green, good etiquette equals having the first person to hole a putt be the one to put the flagstick back in the hole. When player four hits the putt, you can all quickly exit the green.
These three things may not seem like a lot, but combined they will save your group 30 to 60 seconds per hole – and that means you will finish your round nine to 18 minutes faster. And that makes everybody happy!
